Academics
The curriculum of the TISE Program has been designed to enable students to plan, design, construct, maintain, rehabilitate, manage, operate and predict service life of civil infrastructure elements and systems. In addition, the courses are organized to allow students to master the analytic, experimental, and problem-solving skills needed in their professional work. We provide a dynamic program, which changes according to the current and future needs of the profession.
The program provides a graduate education that fosters the development of technical competence in the area of transportation infrastructure and systems engineering. The Systems area of the TISE Program focuses on traffic engineering, transportation planning, safety, transit, freight, and airports as fields of study and research while the Infrastructure area focuses on pavement design, civil engineering construction and rehabilitation materials, and transportation infrastructure assessment, maintenance and management.
